Our Weekend

Over the weekend, we went to Delta to celebrate the 24th. They had a little parade in Hinckley that started out the morning.
Rylee is obviously way to excited to watch the parade!

My Grandpa Jeffery has a lot of tractors that grace the parade every year. This time he took a bunch of his great-grand kids for a ride in the parade to throw some candy.

This is the best picture I could get of Tanner. He thought it was so cool that he got to throw candy! He was so busy, he wouldn't even look at me!

After the parade he "helped" Hailey drive one of the tractors.

When the parade is through, everyone goes down to the park to enjoy some entertainment. All Rylee needed was a cup and a straw.
Tanner also had a lot of fun at the park. They had a dunking booth and they let Tanner stand about two feet in front of the target so he would be sure to hit it. Well, he did and the kid went into the watter. Afterward when Tanner realized that he did it, he turned around, threw his arms in the air and yelled "Whoo Hoo!!". It was sooo funny!
We had plenty of chances to play in the yard at my sisters house. Again, here is Rylee entertaining herself with a coke can.

Tanner's cousin , Grady, had a lot of things for Tanner to play with. He ran around like this for awhile.

This is another outfit that he chose to sport. We all know how he feels about hats! And the boots were just an added bonus!
We also went to a rodeo while we where there. Tanner was loving it! We sat in the front row and every time they would play music, Tanner would jump in front of everyone and dance his little behind off. Everyone around us were just laughing and saying how cute he was. It was great!

Another fun thing that happened is Rigo getting stitched up. Somehow he got a huge sore on his side and it just got bigger and bigger. So he got it stitched and stapled and now he has to wear that fun little cone.

The poor thing just walks around like he is humiliated. It's pretty sad. On the bright side, I feel a little sorry for him so he gets to spend more time in the house. I guess there's an up-side to everything!

Messy Rylee

This is what happens when I try to get anything done at my house. I was cleaning the kitchen and pretty soon Tanner tells me that Rylee's hands are messy. I guess so! Can you believe this is from one chocolate chip cookie! Courtesy of Tanner I'm sure.

And then into the bath!
I learned from Suzy that you always take pictures before the bath. I have received many opportunities to do just that!

Silly Kids

These are just a couple pictures of my silly kids. I love watching the personality come out in them. And believe me, they both have plenty of personality!
I am working on potty training Tanner so he runs around in his undies a lot. He also is constantly wearing his pirate hat, so this outfit was destined to be. The two combined made for a great look. One of his finest I would say! What you have missed out on with this picture is when he was using his undies as a place to hold his sword. I'm sure that's what all the pirates use!

Rylee thinks she is so big and she is constantly pulling herself up onto things. I guess she couldn't get a good enough view of Baby Einstein from the floor. Not that this really put her that much closer. Don't worry, Sis, I know just how you feel!

4th Of July Celebrations

We spent the 4th in Orem with Jim's family. We always have a good time when we are up there. It just makes it better when there's more partying to do!
Tanner and Rylee in their Red, White and Blue.

Our little family.

Tanner loves spending time with all of his uncles. Steven was having fun entertaining him this weekend. As you can see, Tanner kinda likes him!

Rylee didn't really care about the fireworks. She was just happy to be outside!

Tanner thought the sparklers were pretty cool. Who doesn't?!

Tanner loved the fireworks this year. He keeps telling me that he is going to shoot some fireworks into the air. We had a lot of fun! Holidays are just so much better when you have kids! Happy 4th everyone!
